Mercer University's Tift College of Education is committed to preparing students to serve as teachers and school leaders in our local, national and global communities. The college prepares more educators than any other private institution in Georgia.
The Tift College of Education is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and provides a variety of professional education programs that are approved by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.
Traditional undergraduate programs are offered at Mercer's Macon residential campus. Undergraduate and graduate programs for non-traditional working adult students are offered at various locations throughout the state and online, including campuses in Atlanta, Macon and Savannah, as well as three Regional Academic Centers in Douglas County, Henry County and Newnan.
